ForMission welcomes new intake of BA and MA students
Last week, ForMission College celebrated the start of the 2022-23 academic year by welcoming new cohorts of BA and MA students. In a departure from previous years, the induction day was held online, enabling students to participate from around the UK (and beyond).
This year’s intake consists of students from our various campuses – Birmingham, Manchester, London and our innovative Online Campus, as well as partner campuses with Reign Ministries, Kingdom Faith and Josiah Ventures in Central/Eastern Europe. MA students once again include those who are UK-based and those based in missional contexts overseas.
Principal Chris Ducker welcomed the new students into the ForMission community – a diverse learning community that participates together in the mission of God. He explained the college’s vision to “encourage and equip Christians to transform the world through missional presence and action” and highlighted the late Queen Elizabeth II’s servant leadership as an example of Christian leadership that puts others first.
2022-23 promises to be an exciting time at ForMission, with the college developing new pathways and modules ready for launch in September 2023, in partnership with Newman University. And, for the first time, ForMission is able to offer a January start date for new BA students, offering greater flexibility and an opportunity for even more students to join the ForMission community at a point that suits them.
