BA Fees
The full-time tuition fees for undergraduate programmes starting in September 2024 for the 2024/2025 academic year are £7,750 (part-time fees are £3,875 per annum).
Additional Costs
- Students will be expected to have suitable computer and internet access to complete assessments.
- ForMission provides access to books, journals, and other resources wherever possible. However, students will still be expected to buy some books. This will typically cost £125 per year.
- If students are studying on the youth ministry pathway, there is a small annual fee for the residential conferences, which is subject to annual increase. For 2024-25 this fee is £250. Details can be found on Reign’s website here.
- There may be travel costs to and from the campus and to and from the work-based learning (dependent on distance and mode of transport used).
- Most students like to celebrate their success at the end of their degree by attending graduation. Hiring graduation attire for the ceremony costs approximately £50.
Funding
We want to make our programmes as accessible as possible, so we try to keep them affordable. Our undergraduate fees are lower than those charged by most universities, and we believe they represent excellent value for money.
Here are some possible ways to fund your studies:
- Option 1 – Student Loan (students at UK hubs only)
For programmes starting in September 2024, undergraduate students who wish to access a student loan from Student Finance England (SFE), Student Finance Wales (SFW), Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS), or Student Finance Northern Ireland (SFNI) will be able to apply for student loans via a franchise arrangement with Birmingham Newman University. We will provide more detailed information about this to applicants who are issued an offer letter. - Option 2 – Self-Funded/Sponsor-Funded
If you are planning to fund yourself or for a sponsor (such as your church/employer) to pay, your offer letter will set out the terms of payment, but your fees will usually be divided into monthly payments throughout your programme. You will also need to pay a deposit before the beginning of your programme.
Financial Assistance
Students meeting the relevant criteria may qualify for a bursary, though only limited funds are available each academic year. See details of our Bursary Scheme here.
