Foundation Year
A Foundation Year is an additional year of study that will prepare you for the full BA degree: sometimes students need this additional time to lay down strong foundations on which to build later. At ForMission, you can start a Foundation Year without any previous qualifications as long as you are able to pass an entrance test and an English test, or by completing our Level 3 Christian Leadership Course.
The Foundation Year includes work-based learning, classes and ‘clusters’ with other students. Modules include:
- Introduction to Theological English
- Academic Skills
- Biblical & Theological Foundations
- Critical Thinking
- Christians Beliefs and Practices
- Introduction to Mission Studies, or
- Introduction to Youth Ministry
